Name: Glass Wort           

Scientific Name: Salicornia ambigua 

Info: This succulent plant lives in saline marshes. Edible and often used on salads and in soups for human consumptions. There has been significant research in South Korea for extracting low sodium salt from this plant which helps with liver diesease and high blood pressure.
