Info: The largest wading bird in the heron family, this bird is well known across the continent. Using its large beak to snag its prey they are often found around water sources, both fresh and salt. Known for their pateince to catch their prey they make for a great bird to photogragh. Large grey bluebird with white patches on its face with long slender feathers from its chest. Not a picky eater they consume bugs, frogs, fish, and lizards in great numbers.
