Info: Known for its exceptional climbing skills, these colorful snakes are hardly seen.  They are very pretty in color patterns and are often found on the edge of the maritime forest and the dunes.  They hunt often in tree which makes them hard to spot.  They are constrictors, which means they squeeze their prey before eating.  These snakes make for great pets as they are mainly nocturnal and are often docile making them easy to handle.  They like to eat lizards, frogs and often find unguarded bird eggs.
