Scientific Name: Tillandsia Usneoides 

Info: Classified as an epiphyte, which mean "air plant", this dangling plant can be found on many trees.  Not Spanish nor a moss this plant solely survives on the air to grow.  It shares a commensolism relationship with its host tree, which mean it benefits but does not hurt its host.  Often seen in clumps this air plant can grow into very dense clusters.  It is a great indicator of air quaility but does not have a high salt tolerance, hence its growth under the trees canopy.
