Amelia Island Plantation encompasses more than 9 miles of scenic paths, trails and boardwalks that lead you through our beautiful maritime forest canopy from the beaches on the east to the marshes on the west.
The suggested trails for pedestrians and recreational bicyclists featured in the AIPCA Navigator will take you through Amelia Island Plantation’s various neighborhoods and to our parks, green spaces, beach access points, landmarks and amenities.
The trails are color-coded to match the community map posted at Canopy Crossing (located cattycorner from the Omni Resort parking garage) which is the designated starting point for all suggested trails.
Please be aware that in some places the suggested trails will take you onto roadways and you will be sharing the road with motorized vehicles, including cars, trucks and motorized carts (known as island hoppers). Stay alert.
There are six suggested trails in the Navigator. Just tap on the colored square to see the route. The location icons indicate places of interest along the trail. Just tap on the location icon to find out more about each place.
Once you are on the trail, your location in relation to the trail will be shown as a blue dot. There are also matching color discs along each trail route to help keep you on route. Be aware that the Amelia Island Trail, which runs parallel to A1A/First Coast Highway, will take you outside Amelia Island Plantation.
